We collect information you voluntarily provide, including: your full name and email address when creating an account; appointment preferences, service selections, and scheduling history; tip amounts, promo codes, and payment method choices (cash vs. online); notes or style preferences saved by your barber; referral information if you participate in our referral program; and any messages you send through the in-app messaging feature.
3. Automatically Collected Information
When you use our app, we may automatically collect certain technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, and general usage patterns. This data is used solely to improve app performance and user experience and is not linked to your personal identity.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: schedule and manage your barber appointments; send appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notifications via email; administer the MVP Rewards loyalty program and track points; process referrals and issue referral rewards; enable in-app messaging between clients and barbers; respond to your inquiries and customer support requests; and improve our services, app functionality, and customer experience.
5. Payment Information
All online payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. MVP Grooming does not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or billing address. In-shop payments (cash or card) are handled directly at the time of service.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with: (a) our barbers and staff solely to fulfill your appointment; (b) Stripe for payment processing; (c) email service providers to send transactional communications; and (d) law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law. Any third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your account and associated data (via Profile > Delete Account); opt out of non-transactional communications at any time; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), secure authentication, and restricted internal access to personal data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will promptly delete it.
